I asked Jake to make a summer list and this is what he came up with:
I'm totally down with the most important item: EAT. Sounds good to me, as long as I'm not the one making the food he wants to eat. And I'm not sure where we're going to get a canoe, but I do know where we can find some books.

This is a crack up! I gather from his list that he sure loves to be outside...and eating, eh? But there must be some pride for you that right at the top and in the second largest letters is 'read'
...and since he put 'shop' on the list, maybe he'll indulge you in some thrift store visits?
That is awesome! Canoes can be rented from college outdoor rec centers. Not too bad a price for a day. My favorite is to take a canoe through marsh areas (I am thinking of a great one on the west side of Cache Valley) to see all the life in the marshy waters. Baby ducks, geese, fish, algea, etc. Amazing canoe trips with the ability to bank and get out frequently to pick wild flowers.
