It was really tough for kids with braces back then. Even in movies, they were also the subject of ridicule. Fortunately, things have changed, and we now look at braces in a different light. In fact, there are those who are attracted to people with braces. So just let go of your memories of bullying. I'm sure they've learned their lesson by now.

I want to come to your past and beat Wanda up.

I would.

But I imagine you must be cute that time.

By the way, I love Agly Betty.

Ah, braces. I remember those days. I do think the color choices are cool, although you need to choose carefully because some of the colors make it look like you have food all stuck up in your teeth...really gross!
Also, reading this made me wonder why I don't remember you ever mentioning this "Wanda"...I'm ready to track her down and beat the crap out of her for making you feel bad! NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO DO THAT TO YOU!!!!

I loved this! We are going to hang a copy in the office if it's okay with you.

I have braces too, right now. I guess its never too late. I can attest, they hurt. They hurt a lot.

How did we ever get through 6th grade!?!

I had mine during my sophmore year-same as the majority of kids my age. Had we been in the same high school, YOU would have been one of the COOL kids who already had beautiful, straight, white teeth by them time the rest of us got them. Overall, I had fairly straight teeth except two very protruding buck teeth, so I only had to wear them just over a year (55 weeks and 2 days)...oh, and I had my jaw broken and wired shut for six weeks in the middle of the braces. So without that, I would have had them on LESS than a year (49 weeks and 2 days)...but who's counting?

Ahh, the memories of having braces return. I had to wear them twice in my lifetime. Tell Paul that 2 out of my 3 kids have had them as well and loved going to pick out different colors - especially around the holidays. And the retainers are way cool now.
